Module 4 — Gentle Care Through the Seasons
Spring brings blossoms and, for many families, seasonal sniffles. Homeopathy has traditional language for the watery-eyed, runny-nosed picture, which we cover here as background.
Traditional associations
The watery eyes and runny nose picture is the classic reference point in this tradition, which is why onion-derived Allium cepa comes up so often in spring conversations. As always, this is descriptive lore, not a treatment plan.
Everyday spring comfort
- Rinse pollen off with a bath and fresh clothes after outdoor play.
- Keep windows closed on very high-pollen days.
- Offer plenty of fluids and gentle rest.
Safety note: Seasonal allergies can overlap with conditions that need real treatment, and true allergic reactions can be serious. Talk to your pediatrician about ongoing allergy-type symptoms, and treat any trouble breathing, swelling of the face or throat, or a sudden widespread reaction as an emergency — call for help immediately.
Good to know: Persistent or severe “allergy” symptoms deserve a professional’s eyes. Homeopathy background does not replace a proper allergy assessment.
