Module 5 — Safety First: Knowing Your Limits
Being open with your pediatrician about your interest in homeopathy leads to better, safer care — and most doctors genuinely appreciate the honesty.
How to bring it up
- Be straightforward: mention anything you use or are curious about.
- Ask directly whether it is safe alongside your child’s care and medications.
- Ask what warning signs to watch for with your child specifically.
- Write down the answers so you can refer back calmly later.
Good questions to ask
- For my child, when should everyday home comfort stop and a call to you begin?
- Are there any products or ingredients I should avoid entirely?
- What is your preferred way for me to reach you when I am unsure?
Good to know: A doctor who knows your whole approach can guide you far better than one kept in the dark. Openness is a safety tool.
Safety note: Your pediatrician’s guidance always overrides anything in this course. If advice here ever seems to conflict with your doctor, follow your doctor.
With safety firmly in place, the final module is about building calm confidence and healthy habits as a learning mom.
