Module 5 — Safety First: Knowing Your Limits
A responsible way to think about homeopathy is as something that never competes with real medical care. This lesson lays out that boundary clearly.
The golden rules
- Never stop, skip, or delay a treatment your doctor has prescribed in favor of a remedy.
- Never delay seeking care for a worrying symptom because you are “trying” homeopathy first.
- Never treat homeopathy as protection against serious illness. It is not a substitute for vaccines or medical treatment.
- Always tell your healthcare providers about anything you are giving your child, so they have the full picture.
Homeopathy, if used at all, belongs only in the small space of everyday comfort — never in place of the care your child actually needs.
Why “and,” never “instead of”
Serious harm from alternative approaches usually comes not from the approach itself but from delay — waiting too long to get real help. Keeping conventional care firmly in the driver’s seat is what keeps everyone safe.
Safety note: If your child has a diagnosed condition or takes any medication, make no changes based on this course. Talk to the professional who prescribed it before changing anything.
